The new comedy: Guinness World Records.

No, no, my friends, this is not the name of any new comedy film. Though, I think it could be a very popular and really funny comedy if someone decided to make a film based on this word-famous book. Some records from there can not leave us without a smile at least. Well, it could be one of the best 21th century's comedy film.
Never mind! I've just read the article about some Guinness records and was surprised by them. Here they are! I hope they'll make you smile too. Or.... even laugh. Who knows...

Guinness World Records continues to build on the intriguing, informative, inspiring and instructional records and superlatives that have made Guinness World Records one of the most famous brands and an annual best-seller around the world.

First published in 1955, the annual Guinness World Records book is published in more than 100 countries and 25 languages and is the highest-selling books under copyright of all time with more than 3 million copies sold annually across the globe.

Each year, Guinness World Records releases a reference book containing an internationally recognized and verified collection of world records, man-made and natural.
If you were to break a world record, what would you choose for your competition?
During all the time of the book existence it’s nominates were really unique and different.

The fastest time to create one balloon dog sculpture is 6.5 seconds by John Cassidy (USA) at the Balloon Saloon store in New York, USA on 28 March 2006.

The world's longest running TV variety show is Sábado Gigante (Univision Television Network, USA), which has been broadcast every Saturday evening since 8 August 1962.

An original pair of Levi Strauss & Co (USA) 501 jeans aged over 115 years old were sold by Randy Knight (USA) to an anonymous collector (Japan) for $60,000 (£33,230) through internet auction site eBay on June 15, 2005.

Highest-time female pilot and the oldest flight instructor in the world.
Fastest to cycle the Pan-American Highway-Scott Napier sets world record
Largest tiramisu-world record set by French chefs

But also there are too extravagant records as for me… What is the most extravagant world record that you can think of?
World's Most Pierced Woman - Elaine Davidson sticks her pinkie through a hole in her tongue at a 2003 Guinness event in London. As of May 2008, she had 5,920 piercings all over her body.

World's Smallest Newspaper - British children's publication First News shows off the minuscule edition that took the Guinness record for smallest newspaper, November 2007.
I think now it’s the time to talk about new nominates, not less crazy actually.
Well, see for example a lady, who crashed more than ten autos while trying to park her car. She just closed her eyes and turned the wheel, because of being afraid of scratching the one nearby.

Or world record for having the ten longest fingernails (28 feet, 4.5 inches combined), for balancing the heaviest car on their head (352 pounds), or having the largest collection of key-chains (41,418).
Or for example – Natasha Bloomberg, a Czech girl who can beat every fan of dating sites in a number of virtual husbands.

Not yours?
Try to check out the guy who holds the record for wearing the most T-shirts at once. That's 227 T-shirts! If you can squeeze on 228, the world record could be yours!
Do you still think it’s easy to find the non-trivial idea to gain the record? You bet!
